The move is intended to expand its parts remanufacturing business in Southern Africa and contribute to reducing environmental impact by decreasing CO2 emissions and industrial waste.

Hitachi Construction Machinery collects genuine components from machinery in use, disassembles and repairs them, and provides them as remanufactured parts with performance equivalent to new parts.

The remanufactured parts will be available with a warranty, helping customers to reduce component procurement costs, shorten lead times to delivery, and minimize transportation costs. There are also plans to supply the parts to neighbouring countries in the future.

Hitachi Construction Machinery’s development of remanufactured parts is aimed at helping customers improve job site safety, increase productivity, and reduce machine lifecycle costs.
