Hitachi Construction Machinery Zambia Co., Ltd (HCMZ) announced the successful holding of their first ever Customer Care day and New PRODUCT LAUNCH (HITACHI ZW220-5A Wheel Loader) on 7 June 2018.

The colorful event attracted a number of market players from the subsectors of infrastructure construction, agriculture, quarry and mining. At the backdrop of the steady rise in infrastructure development, expansion and new projects in both agricultural and mining sectors in Zambia, HCMZ unveiled the Hitachi ZW220-5A wheel loader, which is poised to be one of the preferred wheel loaders in Zambia because of its versatility and utter prowess. The Hitachi ZW220-5A Wheel Loader is the ideal for a variety of material handling activities such as gravel, stone aggregate, waste, bagasse and other industrial and farm materials.

The event was also used to showcase HCMZ’s after purchase capability, reiterating HCMZ’s commitment towards offering not just machines but reliable solutions. Among the activities for the day was the tour of the Remanufacturing Facility and the Parts Warehouse. HCMZ’s remanufacturing facility in Lusaka is the only Hitachi Remanufacturing facility in Africa and ensures a reliable and timely component turnaround schedule, optimal machine availability, enhancing productivity and profitability for both local and international customers.
